In May 2025, BYD Launched the Dolphin Surf in France: a compact, 100% electric, innovative and above all very affordable. To support this strategic arrival, ByMyCar wanted to hit hard with a campaign that could create a real buzz effect and immediately impose Dolphin Surfing in the minds of the general public.
Combining accessibility and desirability
The objective was twofold: to position the Dolphin Surf as an electric car fun, urban and accessible, while creating an aspirational and differentiating universe in the face of competition. The campaign needed to generate curiosity, generate traffic to the launch event, and install a fresh and sunny image around the model.
Summer Vibe
We have imagined a strong and quirky device, bringing the world of surfing to the capital and to the various concessions across France. Surfers walking the streets with specially designed boards, XXL visuals of the Dolphin Surf surrounded by sand and palm trees, and an immersive event to reveal the model. The set was declined in visuals, communication campaign and event activation, placing experience and emotion at the heart of the launch.
With the Dolphin Surf, we staged more than a car: a state of mind. An invitation to adopt electric mobility with simplicity and pleasure. This solar and unifying campaign made it possible to make an impression from the start and to project BYD into a universe where innovation rhymes with freedom and lightness.
